After a lot of fanfare the Norwegian Cruise Line's one of kind cruise ship EPIC is arriving into the Port of Miami in July, and we have the miami limo or sedan to get you there in style!
This highly anticipated ship has a lot of unique features that will appeal to a diverse group of tastes and interests. The EPIC will launch on its inaugural journey in 28 days.. It will arrive in the Miami area in July 2010. The ship will hold an impressive 4200 guests over a towering 19 decks.
The entertainment options are truly exciting! On board the EPIC will have some amazing shows - The Blue Man Group, Howl at the Moon, Second City, and the star of the show Cirque Dreams.Not to mention the varied nightlife options such as an Ice Bar,and a pulsating outdoor Ibiza style poolside nightclub to get your groove on!

If you'd like to step out of your Miami limo and stretch your legs, maybe even grab a bite to eat, Mattarello's Bakery at 1450 Washington Avenue in Miami is another terrific Local Favorite. This is an authentic Italian bakery and deli - both owners are originally from Florence. You know this is the real deal when the primary language spoken by the customers and the staff is Italian.
Start your day off with the perfect espresso or frothy cappucino - then browse through the mouth-watering selection of homemade breads and pastries to accompany your coffee. Their sugar doughnuts filled with chocolate custard should be illegal (and if they ever become so, I'm going criminal)! Mornings when soccer matches are broadcast live from Italy are quite lively, as the small restaurant is bursting with excitement from the local Italian residents cheering for their favorite team.
As lunchtime approaches the window fills with various types of just baked pizza, foccacia,and panini bursting with various meats and cheeses. The prosciutto with fresh mozzarella is my personal favorite. But don't miss their hot selections either - entrees change daily and could include roasted fish, rosamary scented leg of lamb, roast chicken or turkey served with your choice of side - pasta, roasted potatoes, or Italian style vegetables. The entrees are usually ten dollars or less and are a true value for such authentic quality cooking. The deli counter is filled with large of fresh salads, such as their Italian bread salad (panzanella), or their tuna and cannelli bean with fresh herbs.

I am excited to start a new blog column entitled LOCAL FAVORITES. The one thing that I get asked over and over again is - Where do the locals eat? What is a great value in terms of food, service, or ambience? It really makes a vacation special when you find a truly remarkable location that the locals enjoy just as much as out of towners.
This is always a delicious time of year for seafood loving foodies. One of the landmark restaurants in Miami Beach is Joe's Stone Crab Restaurant. This restaurant serves somes of the freshest and sweetest stone crabs anywhere in Florida. The only drawback sometimes in the very long waits due to its popularity. A great alternative is right next door at its take-away restaurant. Joe's Takeaway serves the exact same delicious food and its sit down counterpart- without waiting. Instant seafood gratification. The stone crabs come in various sizes and prices - from the medium up to the colossal. The same great sides are still available as well - the famous hash browns, creamed spinach,salads, seafood bisque. There are some small bistro tables if you wish to indulge immediately inside the take away restaurant - or even better take your to go seafood picnic and enjoy a spectacular ocean view on the beach.
